Why post-quantum cryptography matters

The encryption protecting your data today will be breakable by quantum computers. The time to prepare is now.

RSA and ECDSA will break

Quantum computers running Shor's algorithm will factor RSA keys and solve elliptic curve discrete logs in polynomial time, destroying the foundation of today's web encryption.

Harvest Now, Decrypt Later

Nation-state adversaries are recording encrypted traffic today, planning to decrypt it once quantum computers become available. Your data has a shelf life longer than classical encryption.

NIST-standardized protection

VajraX uses ML-KEM-768 (FIPS 203) and ML-DSA-65 (FIPS 204) -- the algorithms NIST selected after a decade-long international competition. These are the new gold standard.

2024
NIST publishes FIPS 203, 204, 205 -- the first post-quantum cryptography standards
2026 -- Now

Why Switch to VajraX Q-Browser?

Real advantages that matter to you, explained simply

Your Data Stays Yours

Chrome sends your browsing data to Google. Firefox sends telemetry. Even Brave collects some data. VajraX Q-Browser sends absolutely nothing. Zero telemetry. Zero tracking. Your bookmarks, passwords, and history are encrypted on YOUR device and never leave it.

No Telemetry No Ad Tracking Local Encryption

Future-Proof Encryption

Quantum computers will break today's encryption (RSA, ECDSA) within the next decade. Data encrypted with these algorithms can be stored now and decrypted later. VajraX uses ML-KEM-768 — a NIST-standardized lattice-based algorithm that even quantum computers cannot crack. Your data is safe today AND in 2040.

NIST FIPS 203 ML-KEM-768 HNDL Protection

Passwords That Can't Be Cracked

Chrome stores your passwords encrypted with your Google account. If Google is breached, your passwords are exposed. VajraX encrypts your passwords with HKDF-SHA-512 + AES-256-GCM using a master password that never leaves your device. Not even AllSecureX can read them.

AES-256-GCM Zero-Knowledge On-Device Only

Built-in VPN — No Extra App

Other browsers need a separate VPN app. VajraX has a one-click PQC VPN built right in. Your ISP can't see which websites you visit. The connection between your browser and the VPN server uses the same quantum-safe encryption. No separate subscription needed — included with Pro.

Know What's Protecting You

Most browsers say "secure" but don't tell you HOW. VajraX shows you the exact encryption algorithm used on every connection. Click the security badge to see if a site uses quantum-safe encryption or classical only. The Quantum Scanner checks all your visited sites and tells you which ones are vulnerable.

Technical specifications

For engineers, auditors, and security teams who want the details.

Supported Algorithms

ML-KEM-768 ML-DSA-65 X25519 AES-256-GCM HKDF-SHA-512 HMAC-SHA-512

Standards Compliance

NIST FIPS 203 NIST FIPS 204 NIST SP 800-90B

All post-quantum algorithms conform to final NIST standards published August 2024. Key encapsulation uses ML-KEM-768 (FIPS 203), digital signatures use ML-DSA-65 (FIPS 204), and entropy sources comply with SP 800-90B.

Architecture

Built on the Chromium rendering engine via Electron framework. PQC operations handled by a native Rust cryptography layer. Backend infrastructure runs on AWS with quantum-safe TLS termination. All vault operations occur client-side -- keys never leave the device.

Supported Platforms

macOS ARM64 (Apple Silicon) macOS x64 (Intel) Windows x64 Windows ARM64 Windows Portable (.exe)

Requires macOS 12 (Monterey) or later, or Windows 10 (64-bit) or later. Linux builds are planned for a future release.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the quantum protection actually real? +
Yes. VajraX Q-Browser uses Chromium's built-in TLS 1.3 stack which negotiates X25519+ML-KEM-768 hybrid key exchange automatically with servers that support it (Google, Cloudflare, and ~57% of the web). This is the same ML-KEM-768 algorithm standardized by NIST as FIPS 203 in 2024. For stored data, Pro users get ML-KEM-768 lattice-based encryption via the QuantumVault API. The browser's security indicator shows you the real encryption status on every connection — no fake labels.
Do I need to configure anything for PQC? +
No. Post-quantum TLS encryption is automatic on every HTTPS connection. You don't need to change any settings. Just browse normally — your connections are quantum-protected out of the box.
What data does VajraX collect? +
Only your email address (for your account) and subscription status. We do NOT collect browsing history, passwords, bookmarks, search queries, or any telemetry. All your data is encrypted on your device and stays there. Even with cloud sync enabled (Pro), data is encrypted on your device before being uploaded — our servers never see the plaintext.
Can I use this for government or defence work? +
Yes. VajraX Q-Browser was originally designed for the Indian Armed Forces. It includes features specifically built for defence use: tamper-proof HMAC-SHA-512 audit logs, certificate transparency monitoring, air-gapped deployment support, and NIST FIPS 203/204 compliant algorithms. The browser can be deployed on classified networks with the VPN disabled and all external connections blocked.
Why not just use Brave or Firefox with extensions? +
Brave and Firefox provide good privacy but neither encrypts your stored data (bookmarks, history, passwords) with post-quantum algorithms. Neither offers a built-in PQC VPN, quantum readiness scanner, or certificate monitoring. VajraX is purpose-built from the ground up for post-quantum security — it's not privacy sprinkled on top of an existing browser; it's quantum-safe encryption at every layer.
What is Harvest Now, Decrypt Later (HNDL)? +
HNDL is a real and active threat. Nation-state adversaries are recording encrypted internet traffic right now, storing it in massive data centers. When quantum computers become powerful enough (estimated 2030-2035), they'll decrypt all that stored data — financial records, military communications, personal messages, medical records. VajraX protects against this by using encryption that quantum computers cannot break, so even if your traffic is recorded, it remains unreadable forever.
